Long before modern skincare gave them shelf appeal, ingredients like arnica, and emu oil were used in traditional aftercare for skin under visible stress. Today, these botanicals are often used more as marketing language than meaningful formulation, added in amounts too small to truly shape the product. We take a different approach, building our balms around time-honored ingredients with intention, so they remain central to the formula rather than decorative on the label.

We focus on the most delicate skin of the face: the eye area. It is where redness, reactivity, and visible stress tend to appear first, and where many active formulas can feel like too much. For us, anything applied there should do more than moisturize. It should be made with precision, restraint, and a standard of care that respects how vulnerable this skin truly is.

Biolipid Base
We believe the difference is often not the botanical, but the base carrying it. That is why we built our formulas around skin-familiar biolipids: animal-derived oils and fats chosen for their ability to cushion, support, and nourish delicate skin. Without filler water or unnecessary dilution, the base becomes part of the performance, helping deliver a balm that feels restorative from the first contact.

Post-Procedure Arnica
Arnica is often recommended in aesthetic recovery conversations, especially when a gentler, non-petroleum-based topical option is preferred for skin prone to visible bruising and puffiness. Yet most formulas in the category were not designed for the face, much less the delicate eye area. We created an ancestral answer to modern recovery needs: a facial-grade arnica balm made with a supportive biolipid base and without petroleum-derived fillers.

We searched globally for ingredients worthy of the standard we wanted to set. Our emu oil is sourced from highly regarded Australian producers, our tallow from regenerative farms in Northern California, and our botanicals and specialty materials through trusted European and select global partners. Every ingredient is chosen not only for origin, but for integrity, consistency, and how well it serves delicate facial skin.
